News & Updates

March 7, 2005
We have completed the move to a new hosting company. We're also rebuilding our backend system. In the next few weeks our editors will begin working through the backlog of work. When the backlog is cleared, then we'll start working on the submission process.

Outer Rim Magazine

The Outer Rim is an all-volunteer-run, free webzine devoted to exploring every aspect of the science fiction and fantasy genres in an irreverently reverent way... High points include extensive reviews of sf/f in many media, original fiction and artwork, detailed looks at mythology and its relationship to modern fantasy, science articles, and an opinion section. We average forty new articles a month and also run an email discussion list.

Submission Guidelines
We do not pay, but we do link to authors' sites and email addresses. This is a good way to gather critical commentary. Please query prior to sending an ms. Queries should be sent to the appropriate letter; see the FAQ at our site. Mss should be SF/F-related, and authors should be willing to discuss editing.
