News & Updates

March 7, 2005
We have completed the move to a new hosting company. We're also rebuilding our backend system. In the next few weeks our editors will begin working through the backlog of work. When the backlog is cleared, then we'll start working on the submission process.

Submission Guidelines
AfterImages accepts unsolicited submissions of original poetry and fiction. Submissions must be made by the author. Visual art submissions (still and animated) must be made by the artist. Performance submissions (poetry reading, video, music) must be made by the creator, not the performer. The editors reserve the right to include or not include any submitted work for any reason. Poetry may be of any length, or any style. Fiction should run between 2,000 and 6,000 words. Fantasy and Science Fiction are preferred, but this is not a requirement. Simultaneous submissions are acceptable. Submission implies that one time publication rights are extended to the editors of AfterImages. AfterImages offers no payment for one time publication rights, but will credit each work and extend a hyperlink to the site of the author's/artist's choosing, or to his/her e-mail account.
