News & Updates

March 7, 2005
We have completed the move to a new hosting company. We're also rebuilding our backend system. In the next few weeks our editors will begin working through the backlog of work. When the backlog is cleared, then we'll start working on the submission process.

flim

A journal of short, quirky writing. (This includes jokes, recipes, prose poems, random blrbles of letters, etc. Occasionally has contests. One reader described flim's style as "sense through nonsense", although certainly flim has published a fair amount of plain "sense" writing as well.)

Submission Guidelines
Hungry for short, quirky writing. Submissions should be between 100 and 600 words. Poetry accepted but not verse. Prose is also accepted, although preferably with some sort of language "twist" to it (not just a narrative twist). Contributions are not paid for, because flim is free, but contributors can get free copies of the print edition.
