WWWench

An Online Column With Attitude

According to hyperfiction guru Michael Joyce, "A lipstick lurid example of the emerging form of what we might call link-lit, half story, half history, half histomine, WWWench is Suck without the Wired boys after dark techno-minimalism and Photoshop onanism and with a body (not to mention soul) and a sense of humor instead... The chief fiction here is that we share some sort of world wide space in which every conceivable thing (from Edward Teller to Annie Sprinkle) is linked by a big machine which operates via electricity and is instantly available everywhere by a mere click. Jayne Loader's voice is a combination of a crazed John Waters heroine and a shrinkwrapped talkshow hyper-hostess, say Ricky Lake before and after she was morphed."
