We have completed the move to a new hosting company. We're also rebuilding our backend system. In the next few weeks our editors will begin working through the backlog of work. When the backlog is cleared, then we'll start working on the submission process.

CurtainUp

New York City Based Internet Theater Magazine of Reviews, News and Annotated Listings

CurtainUp covers the New York City theater scene (also, Washington, D.C., London and, during summer, the Berkshires) -- reviews of practically all Broadway and Off-Broadway shows, annotated address books of show listings, features about upcoming shows, theater-related quotes, etcetera (news about upcoming and past reviews and theater events). In addition to occasional reviews of opera we've also added an OK For Kids graphic with a line or so of text to our Broadway Address Book listings, where appropriate. While this is not to be taken as a definitive age-appropriate rating, it will provide adults with some guidelines for shows suitable for children 7-17. The listing may be expanded to our Off-Broadway address book. Rated 3-stars by Net-Guide, featured Broadway site at Geocities, one of Top 5 at Suite 101 theater section. Edited by Elyse Sommer -- member of New York Drama Desk and Outer Critics Circle

Submission Guidelines
People interested in contributing should read CurtainUp -- the front page, some of our features and reviews -- then send an e-mail detailing why and how they would like to be involved as contributors. This is as yet a nonprofit enterprise though our standards are nevertheless high.
