Splinter
and other zines by the unsw media collective
Theme-based mouthpiece for a free-wheeling group of student writers, artists and occasional designers. Emphasis on critical thinking and creative writing about student life, identity, pop-culture and pop-philosophy. In a world where writing, the means for self-expression and communication, is a lost art, and access to artspace is limited by wealth and `who-you-know,' Splinter provides a creative outlet. Content ranges from essays to rants, editorials, opinion columns, reviews, abstract artwork, comics and poems.
