The Horsethief's Journal
Celebrating the Literature of the New West
The Horsethief's Journal is a tri-annual e-zine of poetry, short fiction, and memoirs. As open-hearted and tough as the West itself, The Horsethief's Journal celebrates the diversity of the West, by providing a forum for all voices clamoring to be heard. Here you'll find lyric poetry and memories of hardships in an unforgiving land, alongside humorous free verse and raw, emotional accounts of the contemporary West. But The Horsethief's Journal is not snobbishly Western only -- all styles and genres are welcome, and authors from around the world are encouraged to submit their works, as long as it evokes the spirit of the West. The Letters from All Over column features letters from around the world, as well, in a less formal setting. The Horsethief's Journal is proud to provide this lively forum for writers around the world.
