We have completed the move to a new hosting company. We're also rebuilding our backend system. In the next few weeks our editors will begin working through the backlog of work. When the backlog is cleared, then we'll start working on the submission process.

Canadian Materials

CM is a reviewing journal that includes reviews for books, video and audio tapes and CD-ROMS for young people with a focus on Canadian items. News, feature articles, interviews, and web reviews are also published. It is the only journal of its kind in Canada, in either print or electronic form. The magazine is intended for teachers, librarians, and professionals working with young people, although children do visit the site as well. Almost every review is accompanied by bright colour images taken from the item being critiqued. The general length of a review is relatively short at 500 words, and a quick indicator of the nature of the review is given at both the beginning and the end.

published on Friday every two weeks (on hiatus in July and August)
