Ralph
The Review of Arts, Literature, Philosophy, and the Humanities
Ralph has been called "The Noisiest Book Review in the Known World." Our writings are tart, testy, tasty, splenetic, and -- often -- emetic. We see our job as finding books generally ignored by other media, to give our readers a chance to know the rare and unusual and -- on occasion -- to sample them (we have a "Readings" section in each issue.) In addition we publish what we feel to be exquisite poetry, along with articles, mostly wry and splenetic articles, about anything in the world. Finally, we have a lively "Letters" section, so that those who disagree with our reviews can express themselves freely and noisily. We've been online since the winter of 1994-1995, and now come out monthly.
