Waterways

Poetry in the Mainstream

Waterways is a poetry zine that comes out 11 times a year. We have been publishing only poetry since 1979 and attract poets from around the world. Each issue is a theme issue. It is featured on the Ten Penny Players web site, which also includes information about our student literacy project in New York City.

We select poems based on their relevance to other materials submitted in response to our monthly themes. We accept unsolicited manuscripts only if they are pertinent to our posted themes. Our editorial choices are totally subjective. Payment is one hardcopy of the magazine.
