News & Updates

March 7, 2005
We have completed the move to a new hosting company. We're also rebuilding our backend system. In the next few weeks our editors will begin working through the backlog of work. When the backlog is cleared, then we'll start working on the submission process.

The Peking Duck (aka O Pato!)

A Corporate-Free Zone of Expression

The Peking Duck is a mendicant publication with the aim of promoting hypertextual prose, poetry, and art. Our editorial mindset is rooted in the newsletters of the 1950s and 60s... today we are grooving to laptops rather than Speedographs but the beat's the same: "To publish new work that is as spontaneous as the work itself."
