Submission Guidelines
Currently closed to fiction and poetry submissions. Will be reading again from May 1 to June 30 1999. Please query for reviews and interview pieces. The Orphic Chronicle accepts short stories, prose, poetry and artwork in the speculative/SciFi, surreal, and horror fiction genre. Full guidelines available at
. Current pay rates: Fiction: 1/4 cent per word for First Electronic Rights or $5.00 minimum, 1/8 c per word for one-time rights, no minimum payment offered for reprints. Poetry: $5.00 for First rights, $2.50 for reprints. Artwork: Varies, usually $5.00.
