We have completed the move to a new hosting company. We're also rebuilding our backend system. In the next few weeks our editors will begin working through the backlog of work. When the backlog is cleared, then we'll start working on the submission process.

from the mind to the medium

blurt is an art 'zine with the ultimate goal of providing a wall to scratch on -- an open forum for visual and literary artists of the Washington, DC area and beyond. blurt is its own animal, without conscience or defined editorial policy, other than a stance of complete openness to all expression of ideas, be them controversial or mundane. blurt is printed and distributed throughout the city of Washington each month, and is also updated monthly on the Internet.
