We have completed the move to a new hosting company. We're also rebuilding our backend system. In the next few weeks our editors will begin working through the backlog of work. When the backlog is cleared, then we'll start working on the submission process.

American Cynic

Historical, sociological, and scientific lint trapped in the filter of technology

The American Cynic distributes interesting information and thought-provoking stories to intelligent, discerning readers at large. We feel that being a little bit cynical is an essential characteristic for a healthy perspective on modern life. We focus on the historical, social, political, and scientific arenas. We discuss the media, technology, and current events. The Cynic has been called a "thinking person's Paul Harvey." The weekly newsletter is readable in about 2 to 3 minutes. It's not an intellectual boulder that you have to lug around all day!
