We have completed the move to a new hosting company. We're also rebuilding our backend system. In the next few weeks our editors will begin working through the backlog of work. When the backlog is cleared, then we'll start working on the submission process.

Tasty Bits from the Technology Front

Timely news of the bellwethers in computer and communications technology that will affect electronic commerce -- since 1994

TBTF is concise and tightly written, with rifle-shot links. TBTF alerts you weekly to the news that matters on: The Web, its use and customs, its folklore in the making. Innovative sites and techniques that overcome the barriers to rich online commerce. Misuses of the Net: spam and list hijacking. Computer and network security. Emerging standards and contenders in secure transactions and electronic cash. The growth of Internet commercial infrastructure: transaction brokers, trusted escrow sites, and online services for web sites and webmasters. Issues of privacy, regulation, and control on the Internet: encryption, free speech, censorship, anonymity, and cyberporn. And always a few bits ranging farther afield.

Submission Guidelines
TBTF welcomes tips and suggestions for stories. Read a few issues, and follow TBTF Threads to get a feel for the newsletter's coverage range and style. Occasionally I publish others' contributions on the Web site, with a pointer from the email and Web newsletter editions. TBTF is a free and volunteer publication so I cannot pay for content.
